Good morning Salome, First of all, I want to congratulate you for this activity. I love Beatrix Potter books since I was a child and I really feel so happy when I have seen that you had used her draws and rhymes to do this activity. I can say that rhymes are an excellent key to allow students to memorize and to understand because they are like a “song” and it’s so easy for them to repeat these rhymes. You have done an excellent job Salome! Congratulations. Kind regards, Mònica
Thanks, Mònica! I wanted to make an activity related with the Rhymes powerpoint (http://spoonfullofenglish.blogspot.com.es/2014/11/beatrix-potter-books.html). And also I found a beautiful video (really good images) about "The tale of Peter Rabbit" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MisrUJX3QGU ), but I supposed that was too long for children, maybe only to see and listen with the teacher in two parts...but you can enjoy too!! :)
Hi Salome; In my opinion, you have made a very fun and educational blog. You have done a variety of activities, I really like this activity because it has many pictures of animals while also working vocabulary. Other activities I also like a lot, but this is the most complete.
